Speaker Biography
A 26-year veteran journalist, broadcaster, podcaster and public relations specialist, Brent Adams is the VP of Content Development/Programming for Farm Life Media, an agriculture media organization. He is the creator and host of the Inside Farm Life national radio show and podcast, which combines agriculture talk with rural lifestyle features and traditional country music, live from the legendary Ernest Tubb Record Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. He formerly hosted Fastline Fast Track, which was named the 2019 Podcast of the Year in agriculture by AAEA, the Ag Communicators Network. In addition to Inside Farm Life, Adams oversees the creation of syndicated TV and radio content, podcasts, livestreams and digital content.
Adams previously served as Director of Content for Fastline Marketing Group, was executive editor of The Southeast Outlook newspaper, and spent more than a decade as a web editor, social media coordinator and reporter with Business First of Louisville, an American City Business Journals publication, where he covered Ford, GE, UPS, Yum Brands and Brown-Forman, among others. He was one of the first social media coordinators at ACBJ.
Adams graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University with a degree in Mass Communication and Media Studies with a Minor in Digital Audience Management. He also holds an associate's degree in Journalism from Indiana University.
