MDMC24 Pre-Conference Workshops

Workshops are offered as part of the VIP Conference Pass only.

There are 8 workshops offered this year, each workshop is 3 hours. Classes will be limited to no more than 40 participants to ensure a good educational experience. Enrollment is first come, first served.

Each VIP Conference Pass includes one (1) Pre-Conference Workshop. You can select your workshop after completing the ticket purchasing process.

All workshops will be held in Anheuser-Busch Hall.

Workshop: Google Analytics 4 Rags-to-Riches Reporting

GA4 is awful. Or is it? In this three hour workshop we will walk through the process of creating powerful and useful analysis out of GA4 (Google Analytics 4).

This session will go beyond a basic introduction to GA4. It will be a deep dive into GA4's capabilities and will include a real world example of how we can transform GA4 data into interesting insights about your website users.  Attendees should expect a blend of expert-led presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises, to gain invaluable insights into the latest web analytics techniques and strategies, ensuring they stay ahead in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

The core of our workshop is a practical project where attendees will create a story using GA4's data. This hands-on activity is designed to put what you've learned into action, focusing on crafting a report that tackles a real business question. At the end of the presentation, we will go over some of the more advanced use cases of how to leverage the raw Google Analytics datasets to create powerful analysis of customer behavior.
